That statement packs a massive indictment against the entire world, but mainly the “free” or “civilized” part. Yes, Israel can do whatever it wants and nobody is surprised at the depths of depravity to which they regularly sink. We expect it. And the West whitewashes it.
Everyone who excuses Israel by saying that Hamas should have known that Israel’s response to Oct 7 would be brutal also knows this. They don’t understand what that realization says about Israel. Or about them.
