@jpaskaruk I will look into that thanks. It just occurred to me that my #freedombox / #nextcloud server might have some VoIP options for me to look into as well.

Hello people,
I have a question about #SelfHosting . I am a beginner in the matter and think about an All-In-One solution, as self-hosting email seems like a daunting task to me. I use #linux #debian and I am familiar with the command-line. So :
#yunohost vs #freedombox vs #casaos
Has anyone tried one of those OSes ? If so, what are your pros and cons about them ?
#FreedomBox 25.2 is released

I got myself a #FreedomBox but am a complete noob to servers and self-hosting. This should be interesting!
The uses I'm most interested in: music streaming, blog hosting, and calendar/contacts. Maybe email at some point. If you've got suggestions for any of these, please share!
Also, any recommendations for domain registrars? Looking at #NameCheap right now.
FreedomBox 24.25 has been released! Here are some of the highlights:

@teledyn @x_tof I've not seen anyone mention #FreedomBox yet but I will try to remember to let you know if I do
Prompted by #Facebook #Messenger's new rules, I revisited #xmpp and put up #Prosody but of course there's no one to call. Looking for EASY on-ramps for Other People I found the https://conversations.im app as an option. Any other open IM hosts/clients to know?
Sadly, #Nextcloud HAD jsxc but as with many great apps, the jump to laravel stranded them and the dev couldn't be bothered.
Has anyone used #FreedomBox?
If you are used to advanced task tracking systems with projects, tags, subtasks, detailed notes etc. (org-mode or even a full-fledged project management system such as Trello) and not satisfied with the simplicity of a system like ToDo.txt, there is a @TiddlyWiki plugin for Task Management. http://tiddlytables.tiddlyspot.com/
It conveniently appears in the side bar, so that you don't have to figure out how to "pin" a tiddler.
Installing #NextCloud on my #freedombox #selfhosting server is easy. This looks like a great way to #degoogle
If you would like to support the FreedomBox project financially, please consider a donation to the FreedomBox Foundation. This will help to maintain and expand the infrastructure used for web hosting, discussion forums, demo server, and functional tests.
@mcg @tessaracht I have just set up TT-RSS on a #freedombox home server. It is working nicely and is transforming how I access media. #RSS
@thelastpsion For me, its #Freedombox, a #Debian pure blend.
@timbray Tiny Tiny RSS running on my #freedombox server is working well for me now. I use their Android app to access it on my phone. Having a central collection that I can access from any device works nicely.
FreedomBox has reached the 40 Apps milestone!
...and there are more in the pull request queue!
@BenjaminHCCarr I have been using #freedombox which includes all of the mentioned services. It is based on #debian. Works great.
@BenjaminHCCarr Good stuff but wouldn't #freedombox be a head start?
