the joys of getting tested for covid
Today, I had the pleasure to have my mouth and nose penetrated by cotton swabs.
It was both more and less horrible than I imagined. Less painful, way more weird. (The twisty motion as the swab rotated deep in my nose... I can still feel it.)
I'm pretty sure the test will come back negative but either way I'm happy I got tested. If you think you might be infected and can get tested, I highly recommend it. (It's not fun, but nowhere as bad as you'll imagine.)
Also, wear masks. Masks are good and allow more people to remain nasally unpenetrated.
Think of the noses, people.
