I go to sleep, wake up, and now 🍍 s are everywhere. I feel like I missed something important...

Tried to be social and meet up with a friend at a bar a few blocks away. She was wasted and couldn't stand on her own. Why did I leave the comfort of my keyboard

on the plus side maybe you don't have to give your mastodon password to the tsa because they have no idea why you would have a password to an extinct dinosaur?

They all keep asking what an awoo is, but it's hard to explain other than by example. Ahem.

Awoo~

did you know bitcoin is dead? yeah! totally don't look into, or zcash, or ethereum.

and don't look into decentralized social media like mastodon -- that's dead too!

especially don't ask about agorism or the black market. don't you know that shit's illegal? :^)

Federated Wiki, for people who don't trust / agree with Wikipedia, so they can run their own version of the truth.

hold up

is the mastodon icon a play on "timeline goes sideways" because holy shit mastodon.social/media/BOparaJc

Instead of admins having to juggle which instances federate with which, it'd be cool if users could just filter the federated timeline better.

I confess, I don't know how the tech works on a deep level, but it seems like the regex and the like applied to Home should also be available in the Global/Federated feed.

If I want to block all posts made by users at extension mastodon.social, it seems like that should be available to me as a choice, but right now it only is as an instance-wide rule.

@gamehawk @Elex @acw @KitRedgrave @Freddie @tim I remember when they deleted the bitcoin Wikipedia article because it wasn't notable enough
