@erictapen Quite interested in , , and , but not really a practitioner, yet.
Been having a lot of fun with , which can indeed serve well for . But my focus has been on other approaches to live performance (especially through a wind controller) and some forms of algorithmic composition.
Did check out and it does sound interesting. But it’s more of a “someday/maybe” thing for me.

Nice! I still have a hard time with setting #tidalcycles up, as I'm on #NixOS and things are a bit different here. But I'm really excited to give it start.
Heard about #SonicPi too and found it to be pretty amazing, but I want to learn #haskell anyway, so I'll give tidal a first shot.

@erictapen @timrowe Sounds like a reasonable plan. With , my rationale is less about learning Ruby than about the support, but the idea is similar.
Something which makes me shy away from Live Coding is the typing. Not that my typing skills are that bad, but it just doesn't feel great as an interaction method. There's enough in this world! ;-)

@Enkerli @erictapen

Yes. I need something kinaesthetic - even of it's a basic 3 octave MIDI keyboard.

I like the *idea* of Live Coding, but not sure about the "feel factor". :)

@timrowe @Enkerli Thats understandable. I remember when I had knobs in my hands for the first time. Was pretty amazing compared to clicking with the mouse (not that I did alot of music yet)
